2020 Playoffs Matchups

The 2020 playoff off teams are below in order by seed.

1. Manila Folders
2. SLC Bums
3. Cincinnati Tsnunami
4. Columbus Wild

Round 1 Matchups:

1. Manila Folders vs 4. Columbus Wild

2.  SLC Bums vs 3. Cincinnati Tsunami

There is a slight issue with Round 1.  Due to the semi-weekly schedule we cannot make round 1 of the playoffs 1 week.  So we will need to set the matchups for period 16 and 17 and combine the totals after period 17.   The final was able to be merged as a 1 week matchup.

It was a very tight finish with the 3 and 4 seeds up between 8 teams in the final scoring period.  Very competitive season.  Good job everyone in what has been a challenging year.

Columbus defeats Manila 6 - 4

Cincinnati defeats SLC 9 - 1  ***I believe this is 9 -1 but I need to dive deeper into the ERA numbers to confirm***

Final Round Matchup:

3. Cincinnati Tsunami vs 4. Columbus Wild

In a very tight finish, the Cincinnati Tsunami defeat the Columbus Wild in the PTB Finals 5 - 5.  Cincinnati wins as the higher seed since it was a tie.
