2023 Schedule
December 31 - 2022 Check In
January 22nd - Roster Decisions
February 5th - Fantrax Fees Due (Once a team is paid the transaction hold will be lifted)
February 6th - Free Agency (Matching)
February 13th - Free Agency (Pitchers/Catchers)
February 20th - Free Agency (Hitters)
March 26th - Active Rosters must be reduced to 40 (25 man active and 15 reserves)
March 29th - Off Season Free Agency Closes
March 30th - Opening Day
April 10th - MLFAD Starts
August 7th - FYPD - Tentative (Monday after signing deadline)
August 15th - Trade Deadline
Regular Season Ends after week 21

This is schedule for upcoming 2023 season.  We have moved the timeline up a little since the season is also starting earlier.

One other note, we need each GM to check in and pay their Fantrax fees before they can start trading.   This is somewhat new but the thought behind it is we don't want someone making preseason moves and then leaving the league.

Slight schedule change.  Fantrax fee deadline has been moved to February 5th (the day before Free Agency).  However, teams will remain on transaction hold until they pay.

January 15th Update.....

All y2y contracts have been rolled on the 2023 Fantrax site.  I am still working to process all the call ups.  That should be done today. 

With Brent just taking over the Wolves on January 14th, and me just getting the forced call ups processed, we will extend the roster declaration deadline one week to January 22nd.  This will give everyone a chance to look over their rosters and make any last minute adjustments and give Brent time to review his new team.  We will need everyone to be done by January 22nd.

One additional update.  Roster size has been increased to 55 for the offseason.  All players on contracts will be called up from the minors.  March 26th will be the deadline to reduce to 40 (25 man active and 15 reserves). 

If you are over you will need to submit players to waivers or send y2y1 or y2y2 players down to get at or under the limit.

All forced call ups should have y2y1 contracts assigned.

I also called up all contracts from the minors.  As mentioned above March 26th will be the deadline to be at or under 40 on your MLB roster. 

Please take another look at your rosters and make sure your roster declarations threads are up to date by January 22nd.  You have another week to decline any y2y contracts you don't want.

Active roster size has been reduced to 40 (25 active and 15 reserves).

If you are over please either demote some y2y1 or y2y2 players or waive a player(s) to get at or under the max.  If you don't your roster will be illegal and you won't incur points.

Also, opening day is Thursday March 30th.  Please be sure to set your lineups.  Also the first week is from 3/30 through April 9th.
