I want to apologize for the site going down yesterday.  I wanted to give some info on what happened and what the plan forward is.

The hosting company that hosts our website decided yesterday to remove all older versions of a code style called php.  That's what this and many other forums are built under.  We are on a version that the host removed.   The issue here is that they didn't send out a notification letting everyone know this was going to happen.  While I was researching the code updates the site came back up at some point last night.  This is because the host decided to put the older versions of PHP back on the servers due to the large spike is support calls coming in over the issue.  Many sites went down. This is not a final solution.  They put the old php back on temporarily.  I'm working to confirm how long it will be on the server.

The plan is going to be to update the sites code to allow it to run on the newer version of PHP.  I would like to get through free agency before I do this.  Updating the code will take the site for a while. If the hosting company confirms we have a good amount of time, I will plan to update the code after free agency concludes.  However, if they say this is only going be on the server for a week or so, I will have to do it sooner.

I'll update once I have confirmation.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Nate
