I wanted to get this out of the other thread as there have been some responses to my original post about the board that confuse me.

I do understand that everyone has an opinion and opinions are never wrong, but three other leagues in which I play use pro boards and it is highly superior to this one for the few things that matter to me. The search feature provides results in chronological order while here you get results in some random, non-chronological, order. That is alleviated somewhat by our use of fantrax for rosters, but it still is a less than desirable outcome. If I want to draft a Romero or a Hernandez in the MLFAD, it is a nightmare to see if he is actually available since there are some low minors guys that do not yet show up in Fantrax. Also, the members page does not show a tally in one place of the last time someone was on the board. That is a valuable tool for checking activity and on this board the only way to do it is by going through each owner individually. Lastly, I do have trouble posting at times as the board gets glitchy on contractions for some reason. It seems it is mostly my problem as I do make a lot of posts, but others have the same issue. I am sure there are many possible reasons for this glitch, but it never happened in the first six years I have been in the league. I am comfortable with the browser I use and it works for every other site that I visit without a hitch. I am not interested in changing it. I also understand that I can preview, but I then have to rewrite the parts of the post that glitch. It is an unnecessary pain.

I must be seriously misunderstanding something about pro boards and the ability to use it as I am very confused about the comment that we would have to pay $20 per month to use it for our information. All three of those other leagues are free and at least two of them have significantly more detailed information on the pro boards site than we have here. Overall, I find pro boards markedly better and much more user friendly.

The point about proboards costing $20 a month is the only way to migrate all of our data from here to proboards is to buy the pro version of thier software.  Otherwise we would be starting from scratch with no historical data and all GMs would have to re-register.  I'll just say I'm not doing that.

I believe I know the solution to the posting issue but I'm doing a little more research on how to update the coding before I apply the update.
