2020 Short Season = half week H2H Matchups?

If the season gets underway and is anywhere from 50 to 80 games, is there any support to moving our weekly matches to semi-weekly match ups, scheduled Mon - Thurs, Fri - Sun?  I'm in one Fantrax League with that as our regular schedule, it's OK.  I wouldn't advocate moving to that model permanently, but it would help us have enough match ups to have some separation in the standings for this year.  (Not really an original idea, I saw this on a few Twitter threads and thought I'd post it here for us)

I like the idea and can bring it up to FanTrax. I doubt that they will support it.

I'm a recent immigrant to Fantrax from Yahoo, but I think that's in Commissioner's settings for the league, based on the other Fantrax league I'm in that already has that setting.  We set our lineups twice a week instead of the once a week that we do in this league.  If it is a commissioner setting, we can set it back to weekly next year.

As my wife reminds me, I'm just guessing based on the other league, I'm not a commish so I don't know for sure.

That was quick.  It is available.  It's the semi-weekly schedule option in the schedule setup.

Another suggestion is just having multiple matchups in one period (i.e. playing more than one team in the same scoring period and counting all results), I know that can be done via Fantrax since I've done '82-game' NHL and NBA seasons on that premise.

I will send out an announcement today.  We are going with the Semi-Weekly matchup option in Fantrax this season.  This will give us 15 scoring periods.  Still discussing the playoffs but will have that figured out today. 

Get ready, season starts this week.  Set lineups by 7/23!

I know im late to the table but it seems like we should have two opponents per week. a three games series is not competative account
of a team roster.. i could have 6 pitchers in back half none in front half playing 2 teams at same time give a more competative match each week

This is a common setting that is used by many leagues.  Nothing about this year is normal and we're going to have different opinions no matter what we do.  We've decided to go with the semi-weekly matchups.  You can change your lineups twice a week instead of weekly.
