Title: Y2Y3 Contracts or Higher
Post by: Columbus Wild on February 06, 2016, 09:38:09 PM
There are some teams that currently have players with y2y3 contracts or higher in their minors.  If you have any player with a y2y3 or higher contract, the player must be brought up to your 40 man roster.  If you want them to be in your minors they must pass through waivers.  Only y2y1 and y2y2 players can be demoted to the minors without being subjected to waivers.

A suggestion if you have limited room is to demote a y2y1 or y2y2 player(s) and promote the y2y3 or higher player.

This process must be performed ASAP.  This process should have been done during contract declarations but I didn't catch it until now.

Thanks for your cooperation.
